The N.M. Regulation and Licensing Department accepts complaints relating to allegations of unprofessional conduct, substandard care, violations of confidentiality, ethics, sanitation, practitioner impairment, unlicensed activity, and other violations. Per state rules, all complaints must be made in writing.

The N.M. Regulation and Licensing Department does not handle billing disputes or investigate matters involving parties it does not license.
